(More customer reviews)I actually got hold of the intermediate book first, but realised it would be worth starting at the beginning. I've got a few years experience in a variety of styles and wanted a structured course in fingerstyle. The thing that struck me about both the Intermediate course and this one is that they both have some really enjoyable pieces in them. They just sound great. Even the beginning one started with a really nice little piece right up front. It certainly wasn't easy, even from the start, but well worth it. I'd recommend getting a basic course on guitar (or some lessons) first if you've never played before, but if you know a few chords and some of the basics, this will be a challenging and enjoyable course.
