(More customer reviews)After listening to the new Allman live cd, I was blown away by Warren and Derek Trucks slide playing. I did a search and had to have this book as soon as I saw it. I have tried to learn slide before (with and without teachers), and none have done what the first few pages did.
The trick here is that Warren plays in standard E tuning, so you don't have to detune your guitar. Warren then walks thru sweet soulfull licks that are very easy to learn with the cd. And you can play along without Warren to the rhythm tracks by turning the balance to the left.
A must have!
